Automobile engine cylinder block and cylinder head repair technology

   This standard applies to domestic reciprocating-piston engine cast iron and aluminum alloy cylinder body and the cylinder cover repair. Other automobile engine cylinder body and the cylinder cover can be performed with reference to. After repair of the cylinder body and the cylinder cover shall comply with the requirements of this standard.
1 technical requirements.
1.1 cylinder body and the cylinder cover without oil dirt, carbon deposition, scale and debris.
1.2 water-cooled cylinder body and the cylinder cover with the pressure of 3.5-4.5kgf/cm2 for 5min sustained hydrostatic test, no leakage.
1.3 gasoline engine cylinder body on the plane to the crankshaft bearing hole axis distance, not less than original design basic dimension 0.40mm.
Note: the original design is refers to the factory and in accordance with the provisions of procedure approved technical file ( similarly hereinafter ).
1.4 of all the plane should not have the obvious convex, concave, scratches or defect. Upper surface of cylinder and cylinder head plane flatness tolerance shall be as specified in table 1.
         
1.5 cylinder crankshaft, camshaft bearing bore coaxial tolerance should be consistent with the original design provisions. Who can use the antifriction alloy compensation coaxial error, the cylinder ends of crankshaft bearing bearing hole public axis as the base, all the crankshaft bearing hole coaxiality tolerance is 0.15mm, to the cylinder body at both ends of the camshaft bearing bearing hole public axis as the baseline, all camshaft bearing bore coaxial tolerance forф 0.15mm.
1.6 air cylinder end face at both ends of the crankshaft bearing hole common axis end jumping is not more than 0.20mm.
1.7 volume of the combustion chamber is not less than the minimum limit of 95% original design. The same engine cylinder head combustion chamber volume difference should be consistent with the original design provisions.
1.8 gas cylinder, cylinder head of the joint surface after processing the surface finish should be no less than 6 operating.
1.9 cylinder cover is installed spark plugs or injectors and preheating plug screw thread damage of no more than one tooth, the cylinder body and the cylinder cover other threaded hole is not more than two teeth injury. After repair of the threaded hole shall be in accordance with the requirements of assembly. The positioning pin, ring hole and the assembly datum dimension shape and position tolerances shall be in accordance with the provisions of the original design.
1.10 selection of cylinder sleeve, valve guide, valve seats and seals should be consistent with the corresponding technical conditions, and shall meet the standards relating to the requirements of assembly.
1.11 valve guide bearing bore diameter should be consistent with the original design dimensions or graded repair size ( see Table 2 ). Valve guide and bearing hole of interference fit for general 0.02-0.06mm.
1.12 inlet, exhaust valve seat insert bearing bore diameter should be consistent with the original design dimensions or repair size ( see Table 2 ). Valve seat ring bearing hole of surface roughness of not less than 5 of operating, roundness tolerance is 0.0125mm, and a circle of the interference fit for general 0.07-0.17mm.
1.13 inserting dry cylinder sleeve bearing bore diameter should be the original design dimensions or the same level of repair size ( such as table 2.). Bearing bore surface roughness of not less than 6 of operating, the cylindricity tolerance 0.0lmm. The cylinder sleeve and a bearing hole of interference should be consistent with the original design requirements; no such provisions, generally 0.05-0.10mm. Flange cylinder sleeve interference with 0.05-0.07mm; no flange cylinder sleeve can be made by 0.07-0.l0mm. The cylinder liner surface shall not be lower than the upper surface of cylinder, also may not be higher than 0.l0mm.
1.14 wet cylinder liner bearing bore diameter should be the original design dimensions or the same level of repair size ( see Table 2 ). Wet cylinder sleeve and the bearing hole clearance of 0.05-0.15mm, after the installation of cylinder liner surface should be higher than upper surface of cylinder, and shall be in accordance with the provisions of the original design.
1.15 the same cylinder body of each cylinder or cylinder diameter should be for the original design dimensions or the same level of repair size (see Table 2 ), the cylinder wall surface roughness of not less than 78 gas. Dry cylinder liner cylinder roundness tolerance is 0.005mm, cylindricity tolerance is 0.0075mm; wet cylinder liner cylinder cylindricity tolerance 0.0125mm.
        
1.16 after processing, the axis of the cylinder to cylinder body ends of crankshaft bearing hole common axis perpendicularity tolerance 0.05mm.
1.17 for some special structure or has special technical requirements of the cylinder and cylinder cover except the requirement in this standard, the other can refer to the original design and technical file execution.
2 acceptance and packaging
2.1 qualified through the examination of the cylinder body and the cylinder cover to be certificate, along with the necessary technical information.
2.2 repaired the cylinder body and the cylinder cover corresponding antirust processing.2.3 repaired after the cylinder body and the cylinder cover, should be adapted to the storage and transport conditions of packaging.
Note: ① the levels of repairing size still uses the original design specified size limit deviation.
②The thick line size is only applicable to diesel engine.
